Job Description - PHYSICAL THERAPIST 

PHYSICAL THERAPIST

Job Overview : We are looking for a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for patient care, possess a valid Physical Therapy License, and preferably hold a Master's degree in Physical Therapy. As an essential member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in assisting patients in achieving optimal physical functioning and enhancing their overall well-being. Key Responsibilities: Patient Assessment and Treatment:
  • Conduct thorough physical assessments to identify patients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address patients' functional limitations and promote independence.
Rehabilitation Planning:
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive rehabilitation plans.
  • Set realistic and attainable goals in collaboration with patients, families, and caregivers.
Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting treatment plans, progress, and outcomes.
  • Provide regular reports to interdisciplinary team members on patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Patient Education:
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, self-care techniques, and preventive measures.
  • Encourage active participation in the rehabilitation process for better outcomes.
Communication and Collaboration:
  • Effectively communicate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and case conferences for optimal patient care.
Adherence to Regulations and Best Practices:
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements.
  • Stay informed about advancements in physical therapy techniques and adhere to best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Physical Therapy (Preferred).
  • Current CPR Certification (Preferred).
  • Valid Physical Therapy License (Required).
Skills:
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
