Job Description - Physical Therapist

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and craft tailored treatment plans based on individual needs and objectives.
  • Implement and adapt treatment strategies to enhance patient mobility, strength, endurance, balance, and overall health.
  • Educate patients on exercises, stretches, and techniques to optimize function and prevent injury.
  • Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain meticulous patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and help shape best practices in physical therapy.
  • Stay abreast of the latest physical therapy treatments, interventions, and resources through ongoing training and professional development.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to physical therapy assistants or aides as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current California state licensure as a Physical Therapist, or willingness to obtain one.
  • While experience is preferred, it is not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in physical therapy treatments and interventions.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
