As the Production Manager you would be responsible for overseeing all operations and employees on 2 nd shift. Duties/Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor department supervisors to keep them in line with management goals.
• Mange all issues and interactions with the government in conjunction with the Plant Manager and Assistant Plant Manager.
• Direct the processing of assigned products consistent with scheduled requirements, cost standards, safety requirements, environmental, quality, maintenance, sanitation, and food safety specifications to assure maximum output at the lowest possible costs.
• Maintain an effective plant organization to assure maximum utilization and development of employees.
• Implement plans to achieve plant financial targets and goals.
• Organizational development and training.
• Serve as a facility champion for company-wide safety programs and inclusion processes.
  

Skills/Qualifications

• 5 years' directly related experience in a poultry processing plant.
• 3 or more years of Management experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
• Computer proficiency in MS Office, ERP and payroll systems.
• Detail oriented, structured, and able to communicate effectively. Ability to work within timelines and in pressured situations.
• Strong problem solving, negotiating, and decision-making skills, excellent follow through on assigned tasks required for this position.
• Strong communication skills
• Must be able to work in temperatures ranging from 28-100 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Will be subject to a 10-panel drug screen and other pre-employment screening.
