Position Overview: The Project Manager position is responsible for overseeing and managing civil construction projects from start to finish. This position will plan, coordinate, and execute civil construction projects in a cost-effective manner, while ensuring quality control. The Project Manager will also be responsible for hiring personnel, delegating tasks, and managing risk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute civil construction projects in a cost-effective manner.
- Manage civil construction projects from start to finish.
- Develop project plans and schedules using tools such as MS Office, Primavera P6, B2W Track, Microsoft Project, and Excel.
- Hire personnel and delegate tasks to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Analyze mathematical concepts in order to assess risks associated with construction projects.
- Maintain quality control throughout the duration of the project.
- Monitor and manage budgets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, or related field is a plus
- 5+ years of project management and/or construction management experience.
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with MS Office, Primavera P6, B2W Track, Microsoft Project, and Excel.
- Knowledge of engineering principles, construction methods, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
