Job Description - Quality and Compliance Coordinator

 

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 an hour (DOE)

Location: 3133 W Frye Rd Suite 525, Chandler, AZ 85226 (On-Site Position.)

Schedule:  Monday - Friday / 9 am - 5 pm

 

The Quality and Compliance Coordinator supports a culture of excellence and compliance at Embark. This individual plays a vital role in supporting transparent reporting to Senior Leadership, serving as the recorder in committee meetings, and ensuring the integrity of Embark's policy and procedure library.

 

The mission is to meticulously coordinate and support the Quality and Compliance Team, empowering the organization to meet and exceed organizational goals, instilling a proactive approach to compliance, and fostering a continuous improvement mindset across the entire organization.

  • Tracking and ensuring the timely execution of corrective action plans, complaint investigations, and sentinel event reporting.
  • Facilitating seamless communication among teams to align quality and compliance objectives with organizational goals.
  • Efficiently coordinate quality and compliance initiatives for the organization and various programs and services
  • Assignments for compliance activities may include but not be limited to licensing, accreditation, and contractual requirements.
  • Serving as the recorder in committee meetings, maintaining transparent reporting systems, and ensuring the team stays on track with all deadlines and corrective action plans resulting from sentinel events and/or complaints.
  • Oversee the prompt completion of licensing renewals, quality improvement initiatives, and annual reports on key quality and compliance performance indicators.
  • Monitoring the timeliness of complaint investigation responses and managing the policy and procedure library.
  • Emphasizing a dedicated focus on meeting licensing renewals and annual reporting deadlines for regulatory compliance.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Previous experience in quality and compliance coordination, preferably in a healthcare or behavioral health setting.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of licensing, accreditation, and contractual requirements or ability to learn.
