The Regional Director represents AHF's mission and core values on a local and statewide basis by working collaboratively with business line managers to develop, implement and evaluate plans to improve patient outcomes, achieve program savings and realize pharmacy revenue goals. The Regional Director maintains extensive knowledge of current standards of HIV/AIDS care, HIV testing, case management and quality improvement processes. Financial and clinical data are analyzed to improve operations and performance.

The Regional Director works collaboratively with others in the organization to develop physical sites for healthcare centers, pharmacies, testing locations, thrift stores and regional offices. Positive relationships must be maintained with local and state health department staff; Ryan White and prevention planning groups/consortia; community-based and AIDS service organizations; medical practitioners; and other community leaders and partners.

This position assesses funding opportunities, monitors contracts deliverables and ensures compliance. Supervisory duties are performed as required and in compliance with all policies and procedures. The regional director represents AHF at local, state and national meetings, conducts meetings with business line managers and staff and provides guidance and assistance to all staff in the region as requested.

The Regional Director adds consistent value to AHF by helping to ensure the success of current operations in the region while expanding operations to other areas with demonstrated need and value.
