Details Rate: $50/hr Department: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Schedule: Tier 2 PRN Rotating Shift 7a-7p & 7p-7a. Minimum of 6-12hr shifts per 6-week schedule to include 2 weekend shifts. Required 2 scheduled holidays annually. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care in a diverse healthcare environment in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred. Pediatric Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire. Additional Preferences Per Diem RN must have a minimum of 18 months hospital experience in the specialty for which they are applying.
