Job Description: - Supports process improvement, operations, strategy, cost reduction, and increased patient safety and satisfaction.
- Provides analytical support at system-wide level.
- Monitors data quality for accuracy and completeness issues.
- Assists with the process of database design for assigned projects.
- Utilizes SQL and performs database design, data modeling, and standardizes data structures.
- Pulls healthcare data from a variety of sources including claims, EMR, and quality measure data using SQL queries from Enterprise relational databases.
- Utilizes indices, partitions, and ERDS.
- Generates reports for end users that interpret data to promote evidence-based decision making.
- Produces timely and meaningful analysis of data in support of business and clinical initiatives.
- Presents results and conclusions to the executive leadership team to facilitate the creation of best practices, identify gaps within clinic performance, and provide insight to continuously improve quality in Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) results.
- Creates calculation logic for quality measures and produces results that are used in the value-based payment mode for all clinics.
- Participates in Scaled Agile Framework to develop technical products focused on engaging strategic business initiatives and operations targets;
- Supports cross functional teams to build Cognos and Tableau reports;
- Partners with other healthcare organizations to evaluate the impact of clinical interventions.
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Knowledge of SQL Server and MySQL
- Knowledge of JIRA and Scaled Agile Practices
- Knowledge of R programming
- Knowledge of Python programming
- Knowledge of SQL Developer
- Knowledge of Tableau and Power BI
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Knowledge of Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) measures
- Knowledge of descriptive and inferential statistics
- Knowledge of using database queries and reporting tools to extract insights from large data sets
- Knowledge of simplifying and automating reporting
- Knowledge of performing data validation across different data sources to identify data inconsistences

Salary (Annual): $83,000.00 – $93,000.00 Work Location: 36 S State Street, Suite 2200, Salt Lake City, UT 84111, position may also telecommute from any state in the United States except California, Washington, New York, New Jersey, and Hawaii.
