Job Description - Membership Eligibility Processor I, II, or III, DOE

As a member of our Membership team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring accurate subscriber and member-level eligibility, supporting our members' health journeys. What We're Looking For:

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED
Membership Eligibility Processor I: Six months of data entry experience with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed accuracy and production standards.
Membership Eligibility Processor II: One year of experience as a Membership Eligibility Processor I with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed accuracy and production standards, or an equivalent combination of education and job-related work experience.
Skills and Attributes: Typing speed of 40 words per minute.
Proficiency in 10-key by touch.
Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
Dependable with strong attendance record.
Ability to exercise judgment, initiative, and discretion in a confidential and sensitive manner.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in PC operations, including Word, Excel, and Outlook or similar software.
Familiarity with medical terminology for WSHIP health questionnaire processors.
What You'll Do: Review, enter, and maintain changes on enrollment applications.
Apply eligibility rules and calculate appropriate waiting period credit, eligibility data, and benefits.
Meet deadlines and state requirements for timeliness.
Incorporate changes in policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
Provide customer service to internal and external customers.
Assist less experienced staff as needed.
Attend and participate in training and meetings.
