Job Overview: We are seeking an eLearning Substitute Social Science Instructor to prepare customers to test out of traditional 3-credit Social Science courses, pass their CLEP and DSST exams, and stay motivated on their path to earning their college degrees. Key Responsibilities: Teach lessons when main instructors are unavailable
Present lessons in an engaging and understandable manner
Collaborate with other instructors and team members, participating in meetings
Monitor customers' progress and report significant observations to the eLearning team
Provide one-on-one tutoring to customers
Perform additional eLearning-related tasks as needed
Desired Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Psychology, or other Social Science fields
Three or more years of experience teaching Social Science courses, with at least one year of virtual teaching experience
Proficiency with Learning Management Systems such as Zoom, Google Docs, Google Slides, and other eLearning applications
Ability to teach diverse learners in real-time effectively
Excellent audience engagement skills
Strong internet connection, functional computer, and noise-canceling headset
Efficiency, professionalism, and dependability
Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and willingness to adhere to our eLearning policies and procedures
