Tax Manager - Healthcare, Non Profit, Not-for-profit

We are a mid-sized, Top 300 CPA firm and we are looking to add a Not-for-Profit Tax Manager to join our team! 

Position Overview: The Not-for-Profit Tax Manager will report to the Accounting Manager and will be responsible for overseeing all tax preparation and compliance duties for the not-for-profit organization. The Not-for-Profit Tax Manager will be responsible for filing all returns, advising management of changes in tax laws, and facilitating the accurate preparation of all returns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare all federal, state, and local tax returns in a timely and accurate manner.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and advise management of the applicable effects.
• Identify and implement tax savings and planning opportunities.
• Provide technical tax advice, guidance and support to management.
• Assist with audits and respond to inquiries from taxing authorities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant field.
• CPA designation or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.
• Knowledge of tax laws and regulations related to not-for-profit organizations (Healthcare exp a plus!).
• Experience with tax preparation software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
