Position: Technical Writer - Long term contract

Location: Hybrid - Near South Bend, Indiana area

Contract Type: Hybrid long-term contract, with the project lasting until at least the end of the year.

Job Description:
We are seeking a Technical Writer to work with our client's Research & Development team. The primary responsibilities include creating Technical Sales Training Documents and User Manuals for installation and use of products. This position will require approximately 30% onsite collaboration with the team and 70% remote work.

Qualifications:

• More than 5 years of experience as a Technical Writer
• Experience with writing user manuals is a plus
• Ability to quickly learn product knowledge and deliver results
• Mechanical aptitude and a proven track record of successfully collaborating with engineers to create technical documents
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of management
