Title: Talent Acquisition Manager (Campus/University) - Remote/Hybrid eligible - 96329

Onsite/Remote: Remote Position

This position is eligible for remote work at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.

Your Responsibilities

As a Early Talent Acquisition Manager for John Deere World Headquarters located in Moline, IL (or Chicago- Remote/Hybrid eligible) you will:

  • Manage the Early Talent recruiting team primarily responsible for recruitment activities at the university level for Internships and Development Programs.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and end customers to ensure that Early Talent sourcing, selection and development is a priority for the business and incorporated in the overall workforce & talent planning strategies

  • Lead the strategic design of intern and Early Talent Development programs (end-to-end) to align with tactical and strategic workforce plans by serving as SME and using data to drive decision making and program design

  • Act as an Early Talent matter expert and advisor to internal stakeholders, providing insights on external recruiting trends, competitor landscape and best practices.

  • Build strong and sustainable relationships with business stakeholders across the organization and region to support successful Early Talent programs/initiatives.

  • Lead the University Strategy and University Funding process for John Deere.

  • Collaborates with others to support the deployment and integration of new and existing recruiting strategies to meet business needs. Plans, prioritizes, and allocates resources to meet commitments. Oversees the maintenance of required technology and manages integrity of data for assigned process.

  • Drives ongoing process review and effectiveness including key performance indicators and delivery against objectives. Measures effectiveness of the process relative to business requirements and efficiency. Communicates process performance in achieving strategic goals and facilitate progress towards goals.

  • May develop and manage relationships with outside suppliers to provide process management and ensure supplier quality, compliance, and identify leverage opportunities.

What Skills You Need

  • 5 or more years of work experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruiting

  • 2 or more years of campus recruiting experience

  • 2 or more years of experience in Human Resources (compensation, benefits, employee and organizational design, staffing and employee relations)

  • 2 or more years in offer negotiation and conflict resolution

  • 2 or more years handling confidential candidate and employee data

What Makes You Stand Out

  • 2 or more years of experience in University Relations

  • 2 or more years of experience in managing student programs

  • 1 or more years of experience in applicant tracking systems or recruitment software such as Eightfold, SuccessFactors or equivalent system.

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • University degree in business management, HR, or Marketing or equivalent experience.
