Meridian HealthCare in Youngstown, OH is looking to hire a full-time therapist to work in our Outpatient treatment programs. Positions include working in our Behavioral Health and Medication Assisted Treatment programs. Are you passionate about providing excellent patient care? If so, please read on!

WORK SCHEDULE FOR A THERAPIST

Outpatient offices are open for counseling typically from 6:00am to 9:00pm on some evenings depending upon the needs of the patients.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A THERAPIST

As a therapist working in our Outpatient treatment programs, you interview patients, coordinate assessments, and prepare a narrative summary/bio including problem areas, patient strengths, treatment recommendations and diagnosis. Therapists recommend level of care for chemical dependency treatment and mental health treatment.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A THERAPIST

• Master's Degree and Ohio licensure (LPC/LPCC, LSW/LISW) or Bachelor's Degree and Ohio Licensure (LSW)
• Competency or training in chemical dependency treatment
• Interns welcomed to apply as we will also consider Counseling/Social Work students close to graduation.
