JOB DESCRIPTION

33-bed critical illness recovery unit Cardiac Conditions Infectious Disease Medically Complex Care Neurologic Conditions Pulmonary/Ventilator Liberation Renal Disorders Wound Care Brain Injury

QUALIFICATIONS

Possesses critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Possesses effective oral and written communication skills. Possesses effective interpersonal relationship skills. Ability to utilize computers for documentation purposes. Technically competent in tasks within the scope of practice of a Registered Nurse. Ability to read and comprehend English at a level necessary to follow written and oral instructions and safety precautions. Work Experience Minimum of one year License/Registration/Certification Active uncumbered state license or compact license (if applicable) CPR (by the American Heart Association) BLS, ACLS – American Heart Association Education and Training Graduate from an accredited school of nursing or Employee Degree in Nursing. BSN preferred. Physical Requirements - Must be able to push, pull, bend, and ambulate without assistance.
