Job Description - Urgent Care Provider

In recent years, the healthcare industry has struggled with primary

care provider shortages and overwhelmed emergency rooms.

These trends have given rise to the growth of freestanding healthcare facilities and

urgent care clinics, a pattern we expect to continue into 2024. One market analysis

forecasts that by 2029, hospital emergency departments will see 4.8 million fewer

patients annually compared to 2019.

In anticipation of this substantial transformation, Docs Medical Group's sole mission is

to make emergency care not only ubiquitously accessible, but convenient.

As a leader in urgent care and occupational health, Docs Urgent Care is committed to

hiring compassionate, driven team members that will ensure our patients receive

remarkable care.

Docs Urgent Care has been dedicated to bringing affordable and convenient health care

to the many communities that we serve throughout Connecticut.

Our clinical team enjoys a flexible lifestyle with the opportunity for 3 or 4-day workweeks

and no overnight shifts. We offer competitive wages and a bonus program for all our

physicians. Benefits include: Full Benefits, Full Malpractice Insurance including Tail

Coverage, 401K Savings Plan. We offer a generous reimbursement of CME/CEU and

professional license.

We are well-positioned with nineteen convenient locations across Connecticut and

continue to grow in the ever evolving world of health care. We are attracting Physicians

and Physician Assistants with a valid CT License, who are motivated and have a

genuine passion for patient care and who want to expand their careers while enjoying a

healthy work-life balance.

Experience: Qualified candidates should have a license to practice with the department

of public health. Candidates must hold either a Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner,

or Physician degree in order to be considered

Travel: Clinical providers will work at one of our 19 locations for a 12hr shift with no

more than 3 locations on a rotating basis during the course of the month.

Why you want this job: First and foremost you will not have to take this role home with

you. The SLA for charting is 30 days after visit. Next you will truly have the ability to

affect change in the organization and truly have a say. The CEO is a clinician himself

and is always willing to listen to his employees on ways to optimize care. Last and most

importantly you are rewarded for working harder. This is not an RVU bonus scenario, at

DOCS you are purely rewarded on the number of patients you see, not the complexity.

Compensation: Mid-Levels $130,000.00-$160, 000 /year Physicians $200, 000/year

and higher based upon experience

Requirements

Candidates must hold either a Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner,
