Urgently Needed- Weekend Caregiver

Job Summary: Senior Helpers, one of the leading providers of in-home care services for seniors, is seeking a compassionate and reliable Weekend Caregiver for our Lee's Summit franchise location in Missouri. This is a part-time, hourly position in the Healthcare/Medical industry that offers a competitive compensation rate of $15 to $20 per hour. As a Weekend Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes. Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care to clients in their homes, following their individualized care plans and personal preferences
• Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and medication reminders
• Build a trusting and supportive relationship with clients through companionship and conversation
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks as needed
• Document and report any changes in clients' health or well-being to the care team
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the care team to ensure high-quality care is being delivered
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 6 months of caregiving experience, preferably with seniors or individuals with disabilities
• Ability to lift and transfer clients, as well as perform essential job duties
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a positive attitude
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
