Job Description - Area Revenue Manager

We are seeking an analytical thinker to create innovative ways to exceed our revenue management objectives for multiple hotel properties. As the regional revenue manager, you will be responsible for developing pricing models, forecasting revenue goals, and implementing a revenue management plan to increase hotel growth and profitability. To keep our hotels competitive, you will need to evaluate and analyze our competitors' pricing and operational strategies while also monitoring current industry trends. Our ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of previous revenue management experience or similar hotel operations role. Please apply now if you're ready to be a key player in helping us grow! Responsibilities:

  • Check competitor operational strategy continuously, and review their pricing and availability
  • Hold regular yield management meetings to evaluate past revenue performance and set strategies for future weeks
  • Generate and update forecast estimates and pace reports for each property you oversee
  • Increase hotel revenue by establishing revenue management goals and using innovative revenue management strategies to keep profitable hotel rates
  • Compare and verify hotel prices to ensure corporate, group, and negotiated rates are accurate by conducting market research
  • Keep company abreast of new business development opportunities, account status, potential customers, customer needs, and competitive issues using CRM
  • Create and fulfill a customer acquisition strategy for your sales territory
  • Speak to potential customers to introduce our services or new products
  • Appear at in-person or online trainings, meetings, trade shows, and sales events
  • Ensure customer needs are met by staying on top of our services and product, competition, and market conditions in the home services industry
Qualifications:
  • Experience with computer programs, such as MS Office, Google Suite, and revenue management software is essential
  • Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in business or a similar field
  • 2-3 years of successful experience in revenue management or hotel operations role, preferably overseeing multiple properties
  • Superior analytical skills, math skills, and the ability to interpret data are needed
  • Candidates must have at least 3-5 years of previous work in hospitality
  • Applicant must have strong customer service, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Bachelor's degree or high school diploma preferred
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
  • You will need 3-5 years of inside or outside sales experience
  • Should have a working knowledge of a CRM
