Job Description - Business Development Coordinator

  • Conduct market research to identify target sectors, prospective clients, decision makers, and leads that support Profit Center business plans / revenue growth.
  • Assist with Senior Director BDs in supporting Profit Center Leaders with gathering market intelligence / SWOT analysis during pursuits.
  • Maintain accurate data related to accounts, contacts, opportunities, and tasks within CRM.
  • Assist in gathering/organizing requirements and make recommendations in the development of new, low complexity, reporting initiatives.
  • Coordinate with Seller-Doers, Marketing, and BD to maximize Conference & Event ROI.
  • Provide support during major Key Account pursuits, including preparing materials, coordinating meetings, and managing communication.
  • Utilize Cumming's CRM database (D365) to mine and report relevant data for business development purposes.
  • Collaborate closely with Senior Director BD & Profit Center leaders to support business planning and market strategy sessions.
  • Assist in the development and execution of strategic initiatives to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of business development activities, client interactions, and market intelligence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of business development efforts with overall company objectives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Continuously assess and optimize business development processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Excellent customer service orientation with superior communication and collaboration skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
