This position can be remote. Buffalo, NY based candidates must work a hybrid schedule including Monday - Wednesday in office.

- Provide direction and guidance on HR policy, team member relations, legal compliance, and reasonable accommodations to all management levels.
- Ensure consistent standards and compliance with company policies and employment law in handling team member matters.
- Drive operational excellence by aiding unit management in issue identification and action plan development.
- Offer coaching and support to Business Leaders and HR Business Partners on severe team member issues.
- Investigate complex team member relations issues and make recommendations aligning with company philosophy and applicable law.
- Collaborate with field operations and Corporate Legal to respond effectively to regulatory complaints and inquiries, including those from human rights divisions and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Human Resources, or related fields; PHR certification or organizational effectiveness training beneficial.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in employee relations or HR management in a large corporate or unit setting required.
- Must have experience conducting high level investigations.
- Union experience is preferred.
- Strong engagement and consulting skills, with demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and build business relationships.
- Highly organized, able to work under pressure, maintain integrity with sensitive information, and multitask effectively.
- Understanding of HR policies, federal and state employment laws, and willingness to stay updated on regulatory changes.
- Attention to detail, effective communication, technological proficiency, problem-solving skills, and experience with performance metrics and data analysis are essential.
- Candidates within 50 miles of Buffalo, NY must be available to work in office Monday - Wednesday.
- Must be able to travel nationally about 15-20%.
