General Accountant

The Hilton North Scottsdale at Cavasson seeks a friendly and outgoing individual to join our Accounting Team! Ideal candidates will possess excellent customer service skills, great attention to detail, and a desire to help ensure successful events here at our hotel!

Primary Responsibilities:

• Keeps track of deposits/payments for groups and ensures timely collection of debts from clients.
• Addresses any billing discrepancies, errors, or disputes that may arise.
• Interacts with clients to answer questions, provide clarifications, and assist them in understanding their billing statements.

• Collaborates with finance and sales/catering professionals to maintain accurate information
• Ensure customers are billed correctly for events/room stays at the hotel
• Issue invoices and distribute them electronically or by mail
• Communicate with customers to answer questions
• Negotiate payment arrangements when needed
• Keep accurate records (customer information, received payments, etc.)
• Prepare and submit statements
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience as billing coordinator or similar position preferred
• Proficiency in the Hilton Front Office System (ONQ) is highly preferred
• Comfortable with mathematics and financial data
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Great attention to detail
• Excellent ability to organize and coordinate tasks
