Job Description - Housekeeping Supervisor - Start Immediately

We are looking to hire a competitive Housekeeping Supervisor to join our incredible team at Seattle Children's Hospital in Seattle, WA.

Schedule: Saturday-Tuesday, 5 PM-3:30 AM, 10 hour shifts

 

This position is a hands-on physical position. Requires working with staff on day to day responsibilities, for a minimum of 7 to 8 hours on the patient units, working side by side with housekeeping staff.

 

Oversee and supervise the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping services including, but not limited to, staff scheduling, job assignments, performance management, and training. Function as primary contact for all ES needs throughout the organization. Ensure services are provided in a timely, consistent and collaborative manner while ensuring standards and procedures are followed.

Required Education/Experience:
- AA degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two (2) years work experience in healthcare, hotel or other equivalent housekeeping experience
- At least two (2) years supervisory or lead experience Required Credentials:
- N/A Preferred:
- At least two (2) years supervisory or lead experience that includes training
- Three (3) or more years work experience as an inpatient unit housekeeper in a healthcare environment
- Bachelor of Arts degree in Business, Health Management, Hospitality Management, or related field
- Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP) or Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Technician (CHEST)
- Bilingual Skills
- Experience managing culturally diverse groups of staff
- Experience with JCAHO, DNV, Department of Health, or other regulatory auditing agencies.
$26.81 - $40.21 /hr
$55,764.80 - $83,636.80 /yr

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.

Seattle Children’s offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.

This compensation range is specific to Seattle, positions located outside of Seattle may be compensated differently depending on various factors .
