Job Description - Hozpitality - Hotel Events Server

Description Company Overview: Hyatt Regency Green Bay is seeking a Hotel Events Server. We are located in the in the heart of downtown and home to the Green Bay Packers. The hotel is minutes away from major sporting events, cultural activities, entertainment, museums, and attractions. We are the largest, full-service hotel in the market with 241 all-suite guest rooms and 80,000 square feet of space. We believe our guests select Hyatt because of our caring and attentive colleagues who are focused on providing meaningful connections and memorable experiences. We are looking for a dynamic leader to join our fun, creative and innovative team. Goals of the Event Server: The Event Server must demonstrate fundamental F&B knowledge, and is responsible for the overall success of service during their scheduled event. This position plays a significant role in the overall performance of the Food and Beverage team, which includes product quality and service standards.   • Maintain a positive, high energy attitude with a professional appearance.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Responsible for food and drink service at hotel banquet functions.
  • Ensure the event space is visually appealing.
  • Present the menu offering for the event.
  • Assist with the setup of linen and table setting, food station design, and beverage service.
  • Assist with general banquet setup preparation, room refreshes, and maintaining a sanitary environment.
  • Engage in casual conversation and maintain an attractive setting.
  • Style and service attributes are key to creating memorable guest experiences with personalized and friendly customer service.
  • Strong and positive guest service orientation.
  • Fast-paced environment with constant customer interaction.
  • Foster an atmosphere where guests' need, and satisfaction take top priority, creating memorable experiences for our guests.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time, continuously walk throughout the restaurant, and lift 10-20lbs.
  • Abide by all organizational policies and procedures.
