Job summary
To clean guest rooms as assigned ensuring the hotel and Thompson's established standards of cleanliness are met. Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest's requests or complaints. Ensures the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.

Responsibilities
• - Treat guests with courtesy and respect • - Respond to guest requests appropriately • - Adhere to hotel Health and Safety guidelines • - Clean assigned guest rooms by priority • - Replenish collateral and amenities in guest rooms • - Replace dirty bed linen and make up bed • - Clean bathrooms, mirrors, and vanity • - Dust and polish furniture and surfaces • - Inspect and report damages to furniture • - Vacuum rooms and spray with deodorizer
Requirements
• - Ability to communicate in English • - Attention to detail and speed in performing duties • - Physical ability to clean industry standard number of rooms per shift • - Punctuality and reliable attendance • - Interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others • - Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays • - 1-2 years prior experience in cleaning hotel guest rooms (desirable) • - Knowledge of proper chemical handling (desirable) • - High School graduate or equivalent vocational training (desirable)
