Job Description - Parking Assistant Manager

Responsible for the management, implementation, and supervision of all parking operations in an efficient, professional, and courteous manner in accordance with all corporate brand standards. Responsible for department budget and accurate billing, vehicle and key inventory, vehicle and facility operation and maintenance, management of claims, limitation of liability and overall safety. Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff. This manager will act as an ambassador for the hotel at all times. Promotes service excellence and enhancement opportunities to our guests and completes other duties as assigned.


What will I be doing?

  • Directly oversee and support valet, bell, and overall parking and arrival/ departure operations. Executes parking equipment maintenance and supports garage facilities maintenance. Resolve team member and guest inquiries and complaints. Manage team member recognition.
  • Valet auditing, record keeping, stat tracking, vehicle checks and procedural monitoring. Supply inventory tracking. Coach and train team members and complete accident reports when applicable. Set up special parking rates when applicable. Create parking cards and validations. Promote and enhance sustainability and Clean Stay initiatives.
  • Monitor and respond to communications (emails, texts, phone calls and in person).
  • Participate in internal and external meetings as determined by Guest Services Management. i.e. departmental meetings, operational pre-shifts, summit meetings, resume meetings, etc.

The annual salary for this role is $67,000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
