This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the education and professional development of individuals within the real estate industry. Course Topics:
- Leveraging Technology for Efficient Property Inspections
- Understanding Appraisal Methods for Big Box Properties
- Commercial Appraisal Fundamentals for Non-Appraisers (targeting AMC professionals, lenders, and real estate agents)
- Hotel Appraisal Techniques
- Analysis of Short-Term Rental Markets (e.g., Airbnbs)
- Conducting Comprehensive Market Analyses
- Evaluation of Triple Net Leases
- Feasibility Studies in Real Estate
- Insights into Office Sector Appraisal Qualifications: Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Experience:
- Extensive experience as a commercial real estate appraiser, specializing in diverse property types including office buildings, retail centers, industrial properties, and multi-family residences.
- In-depth knowledge of valuation methodologies and market dynamics. Licenses and Certifications:
- Valid state appraisal license or certification.
- Additional designations such as MAI or CRE are advantageous. Teaching and Training:
- Proven experience in teaching or training related to commercial real estate appraisal.
- Familiarity with instructional design principles and course development. Regulatory Knowledge:
- Proficiency in Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).
- Understanding of state-specific appraisal regulations and guidelines.
