Personalized Vacation Planner

As a Remote Personalized Vacation Planner, you will work from home to create customized and memorable vacation experiences for clients. Responsibilities:

1. Consult with clients to understand their vacation preferences, interests, travel style, and budget.
2. Research and curate personalized travel experiences, including destinations, accommodations, activities, dining options, and transportation.
3. Develop detailed itineraries that reflect clients' preferences, incorporating sightseeing tours, cultural experiences, outdoor adventures, and relaxation opportunities.
4. Coordinate and book travel arrangements, such as flights, hotels, rental cars, tours, and activities, using online platforms and travel agency resources.
5. Provide recommendations and insider tips on travel destinations, attractions, local cuisine, shopping, and safety precautions.
6. Assist clients with visa applications, travel insurance, and other travel-related documentation as needed.
7. Collaborate with travel partners, including hotels, tour operators, and local guides, to ensure seamless and enjoyable vacation experiences for clients.
8. Communicate with clients throughout the planning process, offering updates, options, and adjustments as necessary.
9. Handle changes to travel plans, including cancellations, rebooking, and refunds, in accordance with client preferences and company policies.
10. Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, client communications, and feedback for reporting and analysis purposes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality, tourism, or a related field; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Previous experience as a travel advisor, vacation planner, or in a customer service role within the travel industry.
• Proficiency in using travel booking systems, online platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on building rapport and understanding client needs.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of travel regulations, visa requirements, and travel insurance options.
• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
