Job Description - Travel Concierge Coordinator

**Position Title:** Travel Concierge Coordinator **Location:** Remote/Hybrid position based in Aberdeen, MD area **Job Summary:** As a Travel Concierge Coordinator, you will play a vital role in assisting sports teams and families within the youth sports environment to book their trips. Representing various hotel brands, you'll maintain high service standards and operational excellence. This position blends remote work with the need to be located in Aberdeen, MD. **Responsibilities:**- Collaborate with internal teams to exceed sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends and travel products to offer the latest options to clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Work closely with sports park management to deliver a top-notch guest experience for players, coaches, and families.
- Ensure compliance with stay requirements by communicating with tournament organizers and auditing room night counts.
- Assist in generating travel/entertainment reports and managing reimbursement processes efficiently.
- Coordinate with hoteliers to secure additional inventory as necessary to accommodate multiple teams.
- Manage daily inquiries, billing processes, and reconciliation for The Ripken Experience® Aberdeen.
- Communicate lodging information to newly registered teams and follow up accordingly.
- Conduct follow-up calls to lodging partners and support sales staff with implementing new programs. **Qualifications:**- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum one year of Coordinator experience in customer service or hotel industry.
- Training in travel and tourism.
- Proven sales experience, preferably in travel or hospitality.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in sales and reservation software. **Preferred:**- Experience as Reservations Coordinator, Front Desk Coordinator, or in hospitality.
- Knowledge of Travel and Entertainment facilities.
- Well-organized and reliable.
- Analytical mindset with strong business acumen.
- Genuine enthusiasm for travel and diverse destinations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Availability for seasonal long hours and weekend work as needed.
- Capable of lifting items up to 30 lbs. routinely.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 72,000.00 107,000.00 Per Year
