Job Description:
Responsible for all aspects of audiovisual collaboration conference room meeting scheduling event setup and support at client Headquarters in downtown Bethesda Maryland.
The Senior Technician will collaborate with endusers support team members and IT engineers to work across the organization and drive solutions while ensuring high quality customer service.
Provide troubleshooting and escalation support for all collaboration and Audio / Visual technology.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Required:
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience education training or certifications
5 years in Information Technology that includes experience in the following:
Supporting Office 365 and other collaboration environments
Administration and management of Microsoft Teams and other conferencing platforms such as Zoom or Webex
A/V systems knowledge and support (i.e. Poly Crestron) with experience managing live events (i.e. live productions live sound/camera etc.)
Deploying configuring and troubleshooting Windows OS Mac OS and iOS
Customerfacing support in a professional environment preferably supporting executivelevel customers in highpressure situations
Other Experience Skills and Attributes
Advanced knowledge of collaboration tools such as Teams Webex and Zoom
Advanced audio/visual systems & support knowledge (i.e. live production experience audio engineering etc.
Ability to work effectively with executivelevel customers in highpressure situations
Office365 certifications (i.e. Teams Certified)
Excellent communication skills and problemsolving ability.
Ability to work independently and with others.
Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a highpressure environment.
Familiarity with corporate domain environments and general networking troubleshooting
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Positive professional image
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Manage and troubleshoot issues in conference rooms and large event spaces (i.e. companywide meetings etc.) at client Internationals Global Headquarters
Work with internal L3 engineering teams and outside vendors as needed to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
Assist customers with live events meetings etc. from inception to final production
Work with the team to create runbooks and standard operating procedures for all meetings events and scheduling procedures
Provide ondemand training to customers and internal stakeholders
Adhere to established quality control and security protocols
Maintain a positive professional attitude while upholding strict confidentiality at all times
Build leverage and maintain effective relationships across the organization
Multitask and prioritize daily tasks in accordance with business priorities and executive availability requirements
Utilize ServiceNow to track and manage problems and incidents
Maintain ownership of customer problems until a mutually satisfactory resolution is obtained
