The historic  is seeking a Steward Supervisor to lead their utility steward/dishwasher team! This 1107-room property is within blocks of Dupont Circle and Adams Morgan, with The White House and National Mall less than two miles away!  As a Steward Supervisor, you would be responsible for supervising the transport/set-up of cooking utensils, serviceware and food items in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Ideal candidates for this position n eed to be organized, detail oriented and have good temperament in addition to having at least 1 year of hotel stewarding experience.

Shift Pattern: candidates should be available to work flexible shifts between the hours of 5 am and 1 am, weekdays/weekends/holidays as needed

Pay Rate: starting at $19.07 per hour (final offer based on experience)

What will I be doing?

As a Steward Supervisor, you would be responsible for supervising the transport/set-up of cooking utensils, serviceware and food items in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Liaison with both the event and culinary departments to ensure that equipment/inventory have been procured for events 

• Maintain and deliver proper inventory of equipment for both the event and culinary departments

• Ensure all food and equipment are delivered/set-up on time to all functions as specified

• Special projects as needed, assigned by the department head or other hotel leaders
