Job description: Traveling Foreman/ Horizontal Auger Boring Machine Operator

Our client company offers Horizontal Auger Boring Machine trenchless underground utility installation for sewer, water, gas and electric, gas and oil and fiber optics cable. The company is based in PA but you can live anywhere and travel to the jobsites and come home on the weekends.

I am searching for a  Traveling Foreman/Horizontal Auger Boring Machine Operator  for underground utility installation.

About the position:  Traveling Foreman/Horizontal Auger Boring Operator

This is a  Traveling Foreman position  where you would oversee a crew of 5 and use a  Horizontal Auger Boring Machine  for underground utility installation of water, sewer, gas and electric utilities and/or gas and oil and fiber optics cable.

• This is a permanent travelling position. You are guaranteed projects year-round and will not be laid off even in the slow season. This is not a temporary position.
• The company is based in PA but you can live anywhere and travel to the job sites.
• Projects have typically been in VA, WV, PA, TN, NY, OH, DE, and NC. They can last from a week to a few months.
• Will oversee 4 crew members and operate a Horizontal Auger Boring Machine daily.
• The hours are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM M-F. Can go home on weekends.
• A competitive salary, Per Diem, overtime, hotel expenses paid and a company car are provided.

Experience required:

Traveling Foreman/Horizontal Auger Boring Machine Operator

• Need 3 years’ experience as a Foreman in underground utility installation of any of the following: water, sewer, gas and electric utilities and/or gas and oil and fiber optics cable.
• Need 3 years’ experience operating a Horizontal Auger Boring Machine for underground utility installation of any of the following: water, sewer, gas and electric utilities and/or gas and oil and fiber optics cable.
• Understanding of the Underground Boring Industry.
• Experience boring for pipes ranging from 3/4’s of an inch to 84 inches in diameter.
• Need to be able to travel to various states for a week to a few months at a time, can go home on the weekends.
