The Division of Mental Health is seeking to hire an Account Technician I for the Chicago-Read Mental Health Center located in Chicago, Illinois to perform technical accounting work in verifying a variety of complex financial documents. Serves as Commodity Control Coordinator for General, Mechanical, Office Supply, Pharmacy and Central Supply stores. Batches all requisitions, purchase orders, authorizations and print orders for computer entry. Assists supervisor in various accounting functions. Prepares monthly fund reconciliation statements and commodity control reports.
* Qualifying state employees, in the employee Upward Mobility Program, may complete combinations of specific proficiency tests and training programs leading to a certificate of proficiency in lieu of the stated requirements for this class.
