Travel Occupational Therapist - Up to $75 / HR 13-week contract* *Make Up to $43,000 during your 13-week assignment* This position is for a travel Occupational Therapist with a beautiful community hospital in Nebraska. We are seeking a highly motivated Travel Occupational Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patent care and serving as a resource in the therapy department. Description: Occupational therapy (OT) is an allied health profession that involves the therapeutic use of everyday activities, or occupations, to treat the physical, mental, developmental, and emotional ailments that impact a patients ability to perform daily tasks. The responsibilities of Occupational Therapist include (but are not limited to): Evaluating a patients condition and needs Developing treatment plans to address a patients needs and help them meet specific goals Assessing a patients home and/or work environment and recommending adaptations to fit the patients needs and improve independence Training patients and their caregivers to use special equipment Assessing and documenting progress for evaluation, billing, and reporting purposes Qualifications: Doctorate or Master of Occupational Therapy is required Current CPR certification One (1) year experience in acute care, or out/in-patient setting preferred Iowa State Occupational Therapy Licensure is required Adult therapy experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
