Job Description Summary
This Advisor, Compliance role is a key part of the Santander US CIB Central Compliance team and is responsible for executing the team’s responsibilities in providing compliance coverage on Licensing and Registration and Employee Compliance and advising on related-regulatory requirements and internal policy and procedures. The incumbent guides US CIB employees, collaborates with internal US and global partners, and undertakes standard reviews and escalates to senior staff where non-compliance is identified.

Responsible for ensuring that company's activities adhere to the necessary rules and regulations, and that the company complies with legal/regulatory statutes and jurisdictions. More specifically, this role will provide Compliance advisory and operational support for Licensing and Registration and Employee Compliance (including but not limited to Code of Conduct, Personal Account Dealing, Outside Business Activities Gifts & Entertainment, Political Contributions, SEC Rule 15a-6 related certifications, Continuing Education). The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
