Job Summary:

Assists the Head Coach in development and administration of the NCAA Division I Volleyball Program. Including, but not limited to, coaching, mentoring, program development, recruiting, public relations, community involvement and administrative duties as assigned in compliance with all university, conference and NCAA regulations.

The budgeted annual salary that the University reasonably expects to offer for this position is $47,631 – $51,500.

The full internal range is $47361- $64076

Minimum Qualifications:

• Playing and/or coaching experience in assigned sport with knowledge of rules of the game and playing strategies
• Valid drivers license and good driving record
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulation; ability to pass NCAA coach's certification test
• Ability to travel throughout the academic year and summer
• Strong communication skills to effectively work with a diverse work force and student-athlete population
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to motivate student athletes
• Demonstrated ability to be self- directed and detail-oriented
• CPR /First Aid certification or ability to obtain upon hire
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check and physical
