Dotted Reporting to: FH VP of Surgical Operations and Chair, Department of Anesthesiology
Reporting relationships: Anesthesia Site Based Leads and Managers
Collaborates with (Titles): Froedtert Health VP of Surgical Operations, Department of Anesthesiology Administrator, MCP COO, Associate Chief of APP Privilege and Practice, Froedtert and MCW Physician Enterprise President, Vice Chair of Clinical Operations, Department of Anesthesiology, Chief CRNA and Lead CAA
Funded: 50% Froedtert/ 50% MCW

Purpose
The aim of this position is to hardwire CRNA and CAA representation and subject matter expert on system privilege and practice committees, maintain shared governance activities, invest in continued professional practice and development programming inclusive of maintaining a diverse workforce pipeline through community education program partnerships, serve as a subject matter expert on regulatory statutes that govern CRNA and CAA practice, and recognition of workforce contributions and excellence. In addition to a clinical practice in Anesthesia, the Associate Chief of Advanced Practice Anesthesia Providers works in collaboration with the Chief Advanced Practice Officer and Chair of the Department of Anesthesiology to

Certification:
Candidates can be either a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant or Certified Nurse Anesthetists
Preferred Experience:
Greater than 5 years of Previous CAA/CRNA clinical experience in Anesthesiology; Prior Leadership Experience Preferred
Minimum Education:
CAA: Master’s of Science in Anesthesiology
CRNA: Master’s Degree from Accredited Nurse Anesthetist Program
Licensure:
Wisconsin CAA or APNP licensure or eligible
AHA BCLS and/or ACLS
Physical Requirements
Work requires occasionally lifting moderate weight materials, standing, or walking continuously.
