Job Description - Benefits & Leave Specialist II

Department: Human Resources

Job Summary:

As a dedicated Leave and Benefits Management Specialist at Gonzaga, you play a pivotal role in fostering an environment where our employees thrive. You will expertly navigate and administer leave programs, including FMLA and ADA , ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Your focus on creating a seamless benefits experience, powered by cutting-edge technology, enhances the overall well-being of our Gonzaga community. By championing leave and benefits excellence at Gonzaga, you will contribute directly to the university's mission and the well-being of our community members. Join us in creating a workplace where every employee's journey is valued and supported! The budgeted annual salary that the University reasonably expects to offer for this position is $70,679.
The full internal range is $61,925-$83,780

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of leaves or benefits experience.
  • In place of Bachelor's degree, direct experience working with benefit and leaves programs can offset education requirement on a year for year basis.
