GENERAL FUNCTION

This position will manage the administration and compliance of EssilorLuxottica’s retirement savings plans (defined contribution, defined benefit, and non-qualified plans). Manages and administers retirement plan funding, complex employee issues, various plan audits, data analysis and reporting.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages and administers the 401(k), HSA, Deferred Compensation and RRSP funding and reconciliation process. Ensure accurate and timely resolution of underlying issues and adherence to the governance process.
  • Calculate and manage the 401(k) match. Collaborate with HRIS, Accounting and Treasury to ensure alignment.
  • Manage compliance deliverables such as the Annual Funding Notice, Pension Statements, Summary Annual Reports, and Summary Plan Descriptions.
  • Research and resolve escalated and complex participant issues.
  • Partner with Sr. Manager, Retirement on ERISA and corporate audits. Ensure all requested data is delivered timely and efficiently to plan auditors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as HRIS and payroll to ensure data issues are resolved in all internal and external systems. Manage the project to ensure changes are accurately made to comply with the plan rules.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for HRBPs, the business and employees regarding the Company’s retirement savings plans.
  • Monitors effectiveness of existing practices and recommends changes that are consistent with retirement trends and company objectives.
  • Provides support to integrations in North America for newly acquired and legacy EssilorLuxottica companies.
  • Identifies system and/or program enhancements on an ongoing basis and provides recommendations to leadership.
  • Completes special projects as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of retirement experience in progressive roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance/Accounting or related discipline
  • Knowledge of retirement program regulations, including ERISA, DOL and IRS guidelines
  • Strong analytical/mathematical skills, ability to interpret and communicate data
  • Intermediate skill in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex retirement concepts to diverse audiences
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to plan and set priorities
  • Ability to drive change and influence HRBPs and business leaders
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced skill in Microsoft Excel
  • Previous experience working with SAP HCM and ADP Global View
  • Previous experience working for a multinational company
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing or retail environment

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
