The Central Office Resource Teacher (CORT) position is a .6 FTE 10 month vacancy.
The Central Office Resource Teacher (CORT) assists administrators and teachers in the development and implementation of specific instructional projects within the district's instructional program. The role includes providing support in data dashboard and data reporting development, offering consultative services to staff, and developing evaluative methods to measure project effectiveness.
Duties will include but not limited to the following:
1. Assists district and site staff in the development and implementation of assigned projects to monitor progress and effectiveness of programs.
2. Provides general assistance to project executive director/coordinator and consultive services to principals, counselors, teachers, and other district staff in monitoring progress in site goals.
3. Explores and develops new data methods to meet project goals.
4. Provides in-service training to site and district staff in project procedures, data techniques, and goal monitoring.
5. Serves as a liaison between district staff, site staff, and parents.
Qualified applicants must have a valid California Designated Subject Engineering and Design Credential to their application and registered with the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing by the close of the posting. Applicants must have a valid California driver’s license and be prepared to conduct, participate in, and travel to sites, professional development sessions, workshops, and meetings.
