Responsibilities

Skywood Recovery Center is a residential treatment facility offering integrated treatment for addiction and mental health conditions. Skywood Recovery provides individual and group therapy, experiential therapy, equine and art therapy, and yoga. Qualifications

This is a full-time position. The hours would vary from 6:30a.m. to 6:30p.m.

Position Summary

Responsible for cleaning facilities as assigned to provide  clean, sanitary, comfortable, orderly and satisfying surroundings for the residents, employees, and the public.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure the kitchen and eating areas are clean, well-maintained and organized at all times.
  • Ensure floors are dry and clean at all times.
  • Cleans and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other minor equipment routinely used in the kitchen following established procedures.
  • Collects and removes trash from all areas of the operation following established procedures.
  • Cleans and maintains floors and walls in kitchen and dish washing area by following standard procedures.
  • Adhere to all sanitation guidelines.
  • Assist the cooks as needed.
  • Assist in serving food and beverages to the patients in the dining room.
  • Performs all other duties as required or assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to inspire client confidence in the FRN Staff and the FRN Model of Treatment.
  • Ability to consistently demonstrate through conduct and communications the stability required to effectively assist patients and their family members through the FRN Model of Treatment.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
  • Ability to pay continual attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
  • Must be flexible and highly adaptable to change.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1 year of kitchen or housekeeping/cleaning experience.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Sits, stands, bends, kneels, lifts and moves intermittently during work hours.
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to move from building to building in possible extreme weather conditions.
  • Ability to be physically mobile, climb stairs, traverse the campus on uneven, hilly terrain.
  • A current, valid driver’s license and a clean driving record is required for use of company vehicles.
  • Due to the 24/7 operational demands, must be available after normal working hours and on holidays to manage emergencies that may arise.
