What’s a typical day as a Commercial Applicator? You’ll be:

• Preparing, delivering, and applying fertilizer and chemical products.

• Loading and delivering fertilizer and chemicals to customers.

• Operating equipment to blend fertilizer.

• Monitoring product application by calculating amounts, calibrating equipment, controlling application rates, and cleaning and storing equipment after application process.

• Assisting with warehouse functions such as receiving and unloading product and performing inventory and recordkeeping.

• Performing equipment and plant maintenance including welding and painting.

• Overhauling pumps and engines.

• Maintaining general housekeeping responsibilities.

• Assisting with special projects, attending training sessions, and providing back-up when needed.

• Other duties as assigned.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).

• Have 1+ years of related experience and/or training.

• Hold an OR/ID State Commercial Applicator license.

• Have knowledge of basic farm equipment and operation.

• Possess the ability to do a variety of tasks in succession, such as blending products together, loading a truck, and driving the truck to a farm.
