WHAT YOU WILL DO:
This is a non-exempt position responsible for providing immediate crisis intervention services, in partnership with local law enforcement, to adults, children, and families. Service intervention may be provided in situations to include, but not limited to, mental health illness, disorderly conduct, substance misuse, homelessness, panhandling, and parental assistance for juvenile needs such as counseling or school attendance/truancy. The Navigator may provide engagement, counseling, referral, and linkage to formal (community providers) and informal (family, friends, neighbors, school, etc.) resources to prevent ongoing client crisis and support law enforcement in efforts to reduce the number of officers deployed to non-emergency situations and reduce recidivism of individuals requiring non-emergency law enforcement support.
Shift:
Friday 8:00am -6:00pm, Saturday 8:00am-6:00pm, Sunday 11:00am-9:00pm and Monday 11:00am-9:00pm
