Job Description - Construction Operations Manager

Title:  Operations Manager (Tampa, FL )

DO YOU  HAVE

  • A proven track record in managing painting contractor operations and the capability to assume a leadership position within a newly established company?

  • A passion for delivering timely, high-quality, and competitive services for projects requiring mid to high-end finishes, directly to property owners and through general contractors?

  • A strong background in project management, contract negotiation, construction management, and strategic planning?

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure efficient and effective operations across all departments?

YOU WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Lead and manage painting projects and teams (in-house and subcontracted) to ensure timely, within scope, and budget-compliant delivery, overseeing daily operations from estimate to close-out.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency and achieve company goals, managing budgets, resource allocation, and financial efficiency with the support of the CFO.

  • Conduct risk management assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential risks, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to operations and construction.

  • Collaborate with the Corporate Controller to implement and oversee payroll and human resources processes, ensuring compliance and employee satisfaction.

  • Foster a positive team environment through effective leadership, team building, and training initiatives, developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.

  • Monitor and report on operational performance, making recommendations for continuous improvement, and utilize Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, MS Project, and other tools to manage operations and projects effectively.
