Delivery Assurance Inventory Buyer

Kelly Services is currently hiring for a Delivery Assurance Representative to work at a Fortune 50 Aerospace and Defense company in Norton Shores, Michigan. The Delivery Assurance Representative performs market searches to locate inventory required in support of customer or planning requirements.

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:

• $18.00 per hour

Shift:

• Monday thru Friday - 8am-5pm

• Hybrid (On-site & Remote) / modular setting while in office.

As the Delivery Assurance Representative your responsibilities include:

• Perform Market Searches to locate inventory required in support of customer or planning requirements.

• Issue Purchase Orders for material located on the market or from internal company sources to meet on-time delivery requirements (including DPHM and Trim Plug requests).

• Expedite New Part Material by collaborating with internal suppliers to ensure customer part requirements and deadlines are met

• Issue Return (credit) Purchase Orders for Non-Conforming material to return to supplier as needed for credit.

• Review Non-Conforming material in client inventory. Present findings to team and perform appropriate actions (tag correction, return request, return to stock).

• Review Open Purchase for orders due for Surplus Trading requirements. Report incoming purchases to client manager for inventory forecasting.

• Record Supplier Quotes Record quotes into database to capture for planning and sales use.

• Attend Weekly Team Meetings with managers, planners and engine buyers.

• Collaborate in a professional manner with all areas of the business, including internal and external suppliers and customers.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

• Must be able to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.

• Must be highly organized and able to work independently.

• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite is required. High level Excel skills required, must be able to manipulate data and perform report out services.

• HS Diploma required, BS degree is preferred.

• SAP experience strongly preferred.
