We are currently seeking a Director of HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Compensation to spearhead our efforts in optimizing HR technology and compensation strategies. This pivotal role reports directly to the Associate Vice President of Human Resources and is a critical member of our HR leadership team. Responsibilities Lead and oversee the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of our HRIS to support operational excellence across HR functions, including but not limited to, compensation, compliance, performance management, and workforce analytics. Develop, administer, and refine compensation programs and policies that align with our institution's objectives, ensuring they are competitive, equitable, and compliant with legal standards. Engage in strategic planning with the HR leadership team to enhance HRIS functionalities and compensation schemes, supporting the institution's goals and workforce satisfaction. Collaborate cross-functionally with Information Technology Services (ITS) and other departments to ensure seamless system integrations, upgrades, and data integrity. Design and maintain equitable pay structures, perform comprehensive job evaluations, and offer expert advice on compensation matters to management and the talent acquisition team. Direct comprehensive market, pay equity, and compensation trend analyses to inform strategic decision-making. Manage HRIS security, ensuring system access is appropriately controlled and data privacy is maintained. Champion process improvements, policy changes, and the adoption of best practices to enhance service delivery, efficiency, and data integrity across HR systems. At least seven years of relevant experience in HRIS and compensation management. Demonstrated proficiency in managing enterprise-wide systems, with a preference for experience in Ellucian Banner. Strong leadership capabilities and experience managing teams. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
