➢ What You'll Do

• Coordinate menu planning, budgeting, and purchasing for all food service within facility
• Supervise food preparation for three meals per day seven days per week
• Maintain kitchen inventory and oversee purchasing of all food and related supplies
• Ensure compliance to highest standards of sanitation, food handling and food quality
• Supervise and direct kitchen staff in all activities

➢ What We're Looking For

• Any relevant experience/ training in food service industry sufficient to serve as professional chef
• Minimum of one year experience in addiction treatment industry preferred
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Flexibility, time management, and multitasking skills
• Physical strength and manual dexterity (for chopping, cooking etc.)
• Understanding of health and sanitation laws

Avenues Recovery Center at Louisville is a residential facility which offers drug and alcohol detox and
inpatient rehabilitation services. Set on a sprawling 10-acre property and housed in beautiful, stateof-the-art premises, this modern yet warm establishment provides the perfect backdrop for clients
to cleanse themselves of all substances and begin healing. With a stellar clinical program, skilled,
