Global Consolidations Manager

Job Description

Our client, an esteemed international manufacturing company, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Global Consolidations Manager to join their finance team in Irving, TX. This is not a people management position, so that experience is not required. This person will be responsible for overseeing the consolidation and reporting of financial statements for 5 entities across the globe, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international accounting standards. Global Consolidations Manager Responsibilities:

• Lead the consolidation process and all reporting for financial statements across 5 international entities
• Coordinate with global finance teams to gather and analyze financial data for consolidation purposes
• Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and other relevant accounting regulations
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and related reports for management review and reporting purposes
• Assist in the implementation of accounting policies and procedures to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the consolidation process
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during the audit process to provide necessary documentation and support
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance
• Support ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as needed

Global Consolidations Manager Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 2+ years of experience in global consolidations within a multinational corporation
• Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is required
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
• Advanced skillset in Microsoft Excel and any financial consolidation software
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
