HR Manager

Basic Job Functions: The role of the HR Manager will consist of but not limited to the following, Assist with recruiting, performance management, salary administration, personal development activities, relocations, and to coach and counsel managers and employees on various employment related matters. Create and present functional training programs on topics including harassment and diversity, as well as assisting with corporate training programs. Review and update of employee and supervisor policy and procedure manuals. Keeps abreast of human resource management trends as well as HR legal regulations and recommends changes or innovations and implements where appropriate.Will also oversee the weekly processing of all payroll activities; preparation, filing and reconciliation of quarterly/annual federal and state tax returns; preparation of W-2s; and preparation and submission of weekly and monthly reports to Accounting. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.Minimum Qualifications:

• No relatives employed at Nucor Steel Kingman
• Bachelor's degree with 3 years related HR experience OR Associate's degree with 5 years of related HR experiencePreferred Qualifications:
• HR certification through HCRI or SHRM
• MBA or other advanced degree
• Previous experience using SAP
• Prior payroll experience
