We are seeking a HR Manager to join our hard working and fast-paced team. The HR Manager will be responsible for assuring organizational policies and procedures as they relate to core HR services, processes and programs. The incumbent can think analytically and critically about processes, procedures, regulations, rules and guidelines. The incumbent will possess strong communication skills to achieve optimum utilization of Human Resources. HR Manager will be committed to improving the workplace and providing strong internal customer service. This role is responsible for providing oversight of human resource functions for a diverse group of salaried and hourly employees. The incumbent will be detail-oriented and a team player with proven ability to make sound judgments. A key asset will be the ability to work efficiently while juggling multiple projects with multiple stakeholders.

  • Partner with regional HR offices and other HR Managers to provide and assure human resource capabilities to achieve business success.
  • Serves as the local HRIS subject matter expert. Supports and maintains all employee data in the HRIS system. Performs audits and analytical activities involved in maintaining the accuracy and integrity within the HRIS system.
  • Maintains expert knowledge of the INFOR HRIS system. Trains and assists human resources end users in the use of HRIS applications.
  • Performs technical, complex, and specialized HR data analytics. Creates and manages HR service dashboards and identifies data patterns and trends.
  • Support departmental goals with HR solutions, driving organizational effectiveness, and enhancing employee engagement.
  • Supervise HR staff generalist.
  • Oversee daily operations related to recruiting, interviewing, and selection of employees to fill vacant positions.
  • Perform new employee orientation to foster positive alignment toward the organization’s mission, vision, values and beliefs. .
  • Oversee daily operations related to benefits programs such as life, health, and dental insurance, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.
  • Coordinate management training related to a variety of human resource services.
  • Support employee and labor relations and advise in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues. May assist with investigations and monitor compliance with various regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Serve as expert resource to departments and employees by providing consultation on human resource issues.
  • Oversees local agency unemployment claims. Represents the organization with ESD hearings.
  • Oversee employee safety processes.
  • Responsible for local worker’s compensation processing, working in partnership with organizational safety leaders.
  • Oversee record maintenance of personnel files.
  • Must adhere to company Core Values.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of direct human resource experience; Min 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Ability to relate to, influence and coach employees at all levels in the organization.

  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities at a time.
  • Will be required to travel on an as needed basis
