Home Physicians Group was founded in 2005 and has been proudly serving the central Florida geriatric population in the skilled nursing facility, and assisted living facility for 18 years. Our medical practice is seeking a highly motivated and detailed oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our growing team. This new team member will be responsible to assist with day to day HR functions including a wide range of activities such as:
Prepare and maintain HR reports and documentation.
Assist with the daily operations of the HR department, including data entry, record keeping and filing.
Manager employee relations, including addressing employee concerns, processing leaves of absence, and maintain disciplinary records.
Assist the Onboarding Manager with recruitment efforts including screening resumes, schedule interviews, and onboarding new hires.
Coordinate benefits administration and answer employee questions about benefits.
Creates ADP access for new hires.
Schedules appointments for background checks.
Updates and maintains IT and uniform assignment and inventory.
Responsible for offboarding and collecting HPG equipment, uniforms, etc.
Stay up to date on employment laws and regulations and ensure the practice is in compliance.
Credential providers in facilities and ensures credentialing are up to date.
Track and update employee certifications and licenses to ensure up to date and active.
Create policies and procedures for the practice.
Review current policies and update current regulations.
Performs other Human Resources related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
3 to 5 years experience
Experience in healthcare preferred
Ability to work independently and as a team
Demonstrate strong oral, written, analytical and interpersonal skills
Bilingual a plus
Must be able to handle confidential and sensitive material.
